Goo Hara, formerly a member of K-pop girl group Kara has reportedly been found dead in her apartment on November 24, 2019. Cause of death is currently unknown while i await for more information from the police.
According to Soompi:
“According to Seoul Gangnam Police Station, Goo Hara was found dead at her home in Cheongdam neighborhood of Seoul on November 24 at approximately 6 p.m. KST.”
No additional information has been released by the police as it is currently being investigated.
Previous suicide attempt
She was found unconscious by her manager on May 26, earlier this year, after an alleged suicide attempt.
The timing of Goo Hara’s death may come as a shock to fans, considering the fact that she had only just made her comeback a few days ago with a new single.

As i am writing this, i can’t help but be in tears to lose such a beautiful soul, may she rest in peace.

Police revealed that they had found a handwritten memo at Goo Hara’s house after her passing. The Seoul Police Department stated that the memo revealed negative thoughts about herself.
Police officials commented, “The note was very short and found on the living room table.”
They continued, “The housekeeper found Goo Hara passed away at her house on November 24 around 6 PM KST. After on-site investigation and testimonies from family and friends, it seems that there are no criminal charges currently.”
In regards to the CCTV analysis, they stated, “After taking a look at the CCTV footage, it shows that Goo Hara returned home on November 24 at 12:35 AM. No one else has visited the house since then.”
They are currently talking with the family members as to whether or not they will be conducting an autopsy.
